I have a small question related to tempo mapping a song section where the band slows down gradually but fairly quickly, for instance at the very end of a song.

I am in such situation, where basically the tempo slows down in the very last measure. It's not a sudden drop, but it rather feels like the tempo should be marked (with progressively decreasing bpm values) at least once per beat.

From pksage's master tutorial I have learned how to mark tempo once per measure using the 'q' key, but in this case I need more markers per measure. Still, if I try to just add more markers with the mouse, it's messing everything up...

How do you properly use tempo markers in songs that end with a slowdown?

Or you can try using splits, there are some real good videos on youtube about this.  Even the non RBN videos about tempo mapping will help.
