I'm charting a song that has a lot of vocal "noises" (for lack of a better word) made by the singer at the end. I'm charting most of them as talkies, since they don't seem to be pitched. Lots of cha/sha/shht types of things.

I've hit a point where the singer is making what I suspect are vocal clicks. What's the best way to chart this? It's 12 notes over about 6-7 measures.

Do I do vocal percussion perhaps a hand clap? I suspect I've seen things in charts like like <click> (lyric-ed as <click># I suspect).

I would suggest the ^ notation for easy-scoring talkies and see how it feels. Percussion would feel weird if they are still mouth sounds (though you can actually "cha" loud enough into the mic for it).
