Hello everyone, I just got clone hero and realized how big and seemingly nice and helpful the community is. I was just curious if anyone would make a cover of the song Closer to the Sun by Slightly Stoopid. Or could give me some advice on how to start making a song. Much appriciated, thank you.

Hey there, welcome to C3!

"Closer to the Sun" was actually released on RBN and as per our rules we disallow customs of songs that have been released as official content. The community would much benefit from other Slightly Stoopid songs though. I've actually got "Open Road" planned myself.

I am unfamiliar with the process for charting Clone Hero songs, though I'm sure there's people here who can guide you! :) If you want to try charting for RB3, there's lots of helpful tools and tutorials in the "Authoring Tools, Support, & Advice" topic.

Edit: I'm realizing I might have misread your post. You're wanting to make an actual cover of the song itself? That would be pretty neat, again the community here also does a lot of original songs and would be happy to help you out.

Thank you for the reply. I'm still trying to find a good guitar controller before I really dive into clone hero.

EDIT: After I reread your post and looking into the rock band network, sooooo I could figure out how to chart the song and just make it for my personal use? As long as I don't upload it for others?
