I'm not upset, precisely because we surpassed the goal. Like you said, was just thinking out loud ;-)

We are a little more than 100 dollars away from hitting the 7k mark, it's just amazing. :D

Just catching up on this after traveling for the holidays -- wow, what a great event.  Great job everyone, making things that people love for a great cause.

We are now wrapping up things and I am simply amazed at the amount of money you all have donated. I am excited to report that, as you might know we have raised:

7,011.01 $

I want to thank each and every one of you who gave, from one dollar donations to 500 lumps of dollars. :) When I originally set the target I was confident we could hit it, but I was also prepared to be very satisfied with hitting the 3k mark. The target we reached, almost 50% more than what we were aiming for, is frankly humbling and it says so much about the good people who make our community a special place. We are the 2nd most successful online fundraiser for Make-a-Wish, accounting for more than a quarter of their total online donations, and we even made their newly redesigned homepage: https://worldwish.rallybound.org/

I would also like to picture all the authors involved, all 40 of them, on a stage, taking a bow to receive the big applause they deserve. Behind the scenes they worked tirelessly to author content that could make people donate their hard-earned money, fixing, polishing and taking everything to the next level. It was inspiring to see them work so hard together for a great cause.

Finally, it's wonderful knowing that what we accomplished together will benefit children in dire need of support while they fight the ultimate battle. It's a fact that helping them through their ordeals makes it more likely that they will succeed, so we should all be proud of our contributions to their lives.

Thank you again and, who knows, maybe we can do this again? I don't know how you feel but for me it was a blast. :)

P.S. Make-a-Wish fundraisers don't really have an end, so ours too will stay open, of course you are all very much welcome to donate again during the next months if you feel like it. It would be much appreciated.

Thank you so much to everyone who donated, and thank you to all the authors who worked with me on this project! I had a great time contributing (plus it actually got me off my butt and authoring again :P), and I'd love to participate in a second C3thon.

I've said it before but this was the best thing about 2017 for me.  Fun to be a part of and great to see we will make some kids very very happy.

Thank you very much to all of you who donated, and thank you everyone who helped with the event! When the event was announced to all of us authors, I had only released two songs to the database. So then I had the crazy idea to release 10 songs. And then when Christmas rolled around, I threw another song into the bag! This was a fun challenge for me and I had a great time! Now I'm gonna go back to casually authoring haha.

To all you guys and gals, authors and donators,

A certain song comes to my mind after looking back at all this beautiful work y'all did.......

Whitney Houston's "You Give Good Love"!..... You guys are an amazing crew!

Gratitude from the bottom of our hearts for this,....every darn piece of it! :D

If I appear to be a little "off center", pay it no mind.

It's just my nogrognophobia kicking in.................

I have this morbidly unreasonable fear that the rum's run out! :D

Just like to say thanks, to all the authors, all the people that shared videos, talked about c3thon on twitch, promoted it, or even just donated a pound or a dollar, this year i i started to help with a local charity to do with children and we raised a little over £600 and you wouldn't believe the affects that had on the charity, so a donation of $7,000+ is absolutely crazy,

I know i didn't have anything to do with this, on this occasion, but i put £50 towards my local childrens charity as i couldn't seem to donation to the make-a-wish one.

god bless you all
