One from an indie band hailing from Oakland, California...

Released 10/21/18
Day Wave / Deadbeat Girl
You may have heard it: Made in Chelsea
Favorite lyric: "You're a deadbeat girl at heart, and when you try to be okay, you just fall apart"

The thing that caught my attention in this song is when the vocalist, Jackson Phillips (a one man band actually), was singing, and suddenly stops after a verse and sings, "okay" so matter-of-factly. There was just something so pure to that, to put a stop in there as if he were having a conversation with someone and had that moment of contemplation. At that point, I knew it had to be a custom because I had to sing that line.

It does help that it's one of the very rare bands that is close to my neck of the woods; Oakland, California. Home of the Raiders, A's and a lot of gang-related violence.

Turns out, most the other music is fairly repetitive. Guitar and drums have their challenges; the latter being mostly the speed and blue/yellow notes hit together (which means you'll have to get good at speed with your left hand, right handed drummers - a great song for practicing ambidextrousness).

Hope you enjoy it!

I also appreciate your visualizers. Did you hand craft each one, or do you have a program that makes them?

Thanks. Handcrafted using layers in PS so as not to have to create the wheel each time. I will eventually make it programmatic, as I think I got it down to absolute values each time now.

On another note, how do I go about changing the thread title? I see others do it, but I'm not seeing any way to edit it. Did I totally screw up and am now unable to change it? Oh boy...

Go to your first post in your thread, click edit. At the bottom it should say something like " use full editor" click that and at the top of that window you can edit the title. Click save when done

Links to all songs are in the Customs database.

After choosing to Edit, Use Full Editor. That's it.

A conversion from the Guitar Hero 5 library. Switched audio out with original track for better sound production. Have fun!
