Being a huge Megadeth fan, its nice to see a good amount of their songs on here but I was quite surprised to not see many were done from the So Far, So Good, So What album.    I know that commercially, Rust in Peace and Countdown to Extinction are their biggest successes but I feel SFSGSW is the best album from front to back.    There is not one bad song on it.   502, In My Darkest Hour, Liar, Hook In Mouth.........that was a great side (for those of us old enough to have suffered through the cassette tape era LOL).    Anyway, just sharing my thoughts.     There's so many other great songs on here that I think its awesome that so many people contribute classic stuff on here and I'm definitely appreciative of that.     I'm seeing Megadeth in concert this week......I guess the bug is hitting me right now to see some of my favorites be considered for release :-)

I'm gonna throw a big vote in for "In The Aeroplane Over The Sea" by Neutral Milk Hotel. Really surprised that it isn't charted, especially considering there ARE Neutral Milk Hotel songs charted

That's a good one, but I think "Holland, 1945" was well justified a release before ITAOTS.

I am shocked that 'Hey Ya!' by Outkast hasn't been done yet!

Don't request DLC content, you will be suspended next time.

I had no idea it was dlc. I only looked in the database, and I didn't know it was released for rb4. I apologise

Let's see:

Ghettochip Malfunction - Beck unless it's already been done by Harmonix and it just isn't on the databse.

Any song from Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt

Anything Lifehouse other than Hanging By A Moment

A minor notice of mine, but given that Brutal Legend got a nod via a Rock Band DLC pack, I'm somewhat surprised that "Girlfriend" by Kabbage Boy hasn't been made a custom yet.

I generally dislike myself.

How about a cover song? The live cover of "Addicted To Love" by Tina Turner is incredible. This version:

I will say that it has been a while since RB4 songs have been put in the database as links to the actual DLC. It would give some of those people who are so involved with RB3 customs that they forget to even keep up with RB4 releases. Sometimes I almost get like that. For instance, one time I totally forgot Kids by MGMT was released, and I'm a big time annoying always-talkin'-about-what-songs-are-and-are-not-in-Rock-Band type of person.

On a personal note I wish I had better access to my Xbox One. I miss playing RB4, it's been a long time

Also I'd like to add The Real Slim Shady by Eminem as a surprising non-charted song. Looking it up I see that it looks like there was once at least a drum chart but, full band would be kewl

Lots of very notable selections that definitely flew under the radar. I'm really glad they were brought up. Great suggestions, gang! :)

Hopefully, some of what I'm thinking might also be considered.

Here goes.....

Steve Winwood - "Roll with It" and "Higher Love"

Mitch Ryder & The Detroit Wheels - "Devil with a Blue Dress/Good Golly Miss Molly"

Sam & Dave - "Hold On (I'm Coming)"

Rare Earth - "I Just Want To Celebrate" and "Get Ready"

The Outsiders - "Time Won't Let Me"

Grand Funk - "Shinin' On", "Rock & Roll Soul" and "Some Kind of Wonderful" (Drums Only has been done by Crazy Canuck)

Orleans - "Dance with Me"

Carole King - "It's Too Late"

Marvin Gaye - "What's Going On"

Sugarloaf - "Green Eyed Lady"

The Moments - "Love On a Two Way Street"

Tommy Boyce & Bobby Hart - "I Wonder What She's Doing Tonight"

The Isley Brothers - "Who's That Lady"

Ides of March - "Vehicle" (Drums Only has been done by AFJOne23)

American Breed - "Bend Me, Shape Me"

Paula Abdul - "Straight Up" and "Opposites Attract"

The Jackson 5 - "The Love You Save", "I'll Be There"

Cornelius Brothers & Sister Rose - "Treat Her Like a Lady" and "Too Late To Turn Back Now"

America - "Ventura Highway" and "Survival" (The latter was pretty big in Italy)

Tower of Power - "So Very Hard to Go", "You're Still A Young Man" and "What is Hip"

Elvin Bishop -  "Fooled Around & Fell In Love"

The Five Stairsteps - "Ooh Child"

Stephen Bishop - "On & On", "Save It For A Rainy Day"

Stevie Wonder - "Don't You Worry 'Bout A Thing"

Carly Simon - "You're So Vain", "Mockingbird" (with James Taylor)

Rose Royce - "Car Wash" and "I Wanna Get Next To You"

James Taylor - "Sweet Baby James", "You've got a Friend", "How Sweet It Is (To Be Loved By You)" and "Don't Let Me Be Lonely Tonight"

Bill Withers - "Use Me", Ain't No Sunshine (When She's Gone) and "Lovely Day"

Tommy Roe - "Dizzy"

Taylor Dane - "Tell It To My Heart"

Earth,Wind & Fire - "That's The Way of The World", "Reasons", "After the Love Is Gone" and "Boogie Wonderland"

Pablo Cruise - "What'cha Gonna Do?" and "Love Will Find A Way"

Billy Preston - "Will it Go Round In Circles"

Capt. & Tennile - "Love Will Keep Us Together","Lonely Nights (Angel Face) and "The Way That I Want To Touch You"

Atlantic Starr - "Secret Lovers", "Always" and "Freak-a-ristic"

Richard Marx - Too many good songs by this great artist to name (and he really could use some RB3 love), but if I was an author, I'd probably start with "It Don't Mean Nothing".

Oh, and any Motown or Staxx is always something (in my delusional mind) I'll never believe hasn't been charted!  :smug:

Maybe there's a song or two here that someone agrees needs to be in the game! :D Thanks!

Great list! The lack of Higher Love is definitely shocking to me...

Still the One was actually RB4 DLC.

And I just now realized that Jimi369 had already done a terrific job of Sam and Dave's "Soul Man" (apologies, Jimbo).

No problem, I released both Soul Man and Hold On, I'm Coming years ago, but didn't exactly do a bang up job back then (not for a lack of trying, but still). So their inclusion on your list seems well warrented to me :). You played a -hopefully- very much improved version of Soul Man that should rectify at least some of what I did wrong back then.
