Depends on context, but I often go with a yellow cymbal. I find that the sound of a tambourine is pretty similar to that if a hihat, so it usually fits pretty well there.

One Harmonix example I can recall is in the intro to On the Backs of Angels where a few tambourine hits in isolation are charted as blue cymbals. So yeah, there are many ways to do it, go with what feels natural for the chart.

Well, I really don't know if there's an official answer. I've seen it charted yellow, blue, and green.

Because you got open hi hats in there, a blu tom is the best place to go, that's a very good point.
