Spiralshadow123's WIP/Requests Thread (Update 4/2, new songs coming soon!)

Recommended Posts

UPDATE 4/2: Added a bunch more WIPs and to-do's. Hoping to finally release some of these by Friday 4/7, no promises though!

UPDATE 3/1: Added Dimmu Borgir to WIP, added Amon Tobin, Nekrogoblikon, and Sabaton to the list

Below you will find a list of songs I'm working on, as well as a massive list of songs that I'd like to do eventually. If any of these strike your interest leave a reply below. These would all be full band customs.

In progress:

Gojira - Silvera

Fu Manchu - Cyclone Launch, Burning Road
Gang of Four - Natural's Not in it, Not Great Men
Gnarls Barkley - Crazy, Just A Thought, Who Cares
Godflesh - Frail, Wake
Gojira (2) - any of their songs
Gorod - Celestial Nature
Havok - D.O.A., Unnatural Selection, Hang 'em High, anything from Conformicide

Steel Pulse - Setppin' Out
Supergrass (1) - Alright, Strange Ones
Tiamat - Cain, Whatever That Hurts
Trap Them - Hellionaires
Wellwater Conspiracy - Teen Lambchop, B.O.U.

Full albums I'd like to do:

Voivod - Nothingface (challenging, technical prog metal)

I Am Ghost - Lovers' Requiem (post-hardcore, keys and harmonies on each song)

Ghost - Meliora (2) (this would be a blast at parties, everyone loves Ghost)

The Ocean - Pelagial (progressive post-metal concept album?)

Existing customs to add full band to:
Carcass - Heartwork (G)

Dethklok - Awaken (G)

Gojira - Toxic Garbage Island (D)

Meshuggah - Rational Gaze, New Millenium Cyanide Christ (G)

If you'd like me to do any of these, or if you have other suggestions that are similar, let me know below! If you'd like to make requests from my favorite bands/albums, take a look at my Customscreators page, as well as my Last.fm and Spotify profiles.

Also, another thing: if there's enough interest, I'd like to start a Gojira project, similar to AJFOne23's Mastodon and Chicago projects, where we'd work together to complete the entire discography doing full band customs. A lot of their songs already have single instrument conversions, so some of the work is already done. Let me know if this is something you guys want to see.

Don't forget to check out my thread and spreadsheet if you haven't already!

Ora Pro Nobis Lucifer

Funeralopolis - actually anything from Electric Wizard would be amazing!

Skeletonwitch

Gojira

Ghost

really great taste in music here man!

Thanks. Glad to see some of my favorite bands are well liked here. I've just started a tempo map for Behemoth - Ora Pro Nobis Lucifer, so it'll be out when I release my next batch of customs. :)

I have an On GP chart that I'm fixing up. Also did Giving Bad People Good Ideas (for drums), and I Want It I Need It (Currently WIP).

That sounds awesome. Do you plan on adding full band to any of those? If not, do you mind if I add the other instruments myself and send them to you? I already have guitar done for On GP.

Sure. Do you want me to just send you the drum midi? I have it pretty much completed and ready to release but for some reason the CON was crashing the game.

I'm gonna full band IWIINI and GBPGI.

Just PM me, I'll send you a link for the RRP file.

The Smiths would be awesome, especially songs from Meat Is Murder. Ora Pro Nobis Lucifer would also be a blast, looking forward to more of your charts.

Thanks! If I do any Smiths it'll probably be from Hatful of Hollow since that's the CD I own. Although, I haven't really heard any of their other work, so if you have some suggestions I'll see if I like them!

I currently have a guitar chart finished for Ora Pro Nobis Lucifer, but I'm not finishing it until I have someone test it out first to see if the tempo map is okay. Here's the forum topic where I have the download link, if you could help me out it'd be much appreciated!

Nowhere Fast is probably my favorite song of theirs, that would probably be fun. This Charming Man is another great one. You really can't go wrong with any of their stuff though.

Hey, I have a request for you. Do you think maybe you could try doing Cacophony's Speed Metal Symphony? I hate to make myself sound lazy, but I was planning on making it a chart for RB3, but the rest of the chart was cut of towards the end. I found it as a chart.

This is the song:

Here is the chart I have been going through: http://www.mediafire.com/file/4nbvjb2bvvnefzd/Cacophony+-+Speed+Metal+Symphony.rar

Hi Russell,

Thanks for reaching out. I'm actually taking a break from customs right now, as I just don't have the time for it. I'm not sure when I'll be back, it could be a few months from now or it could be a year from now. But when I do come back, I'll consider your suggestion :) that song looks like it'd be a fun one.
