Huge thanks for Man of War!  It's quickly become one of my favourite Radiohead songs.

Some more of my favourites by Ramones.   With the exception of Judy, this entire pack came about from some really great midi sources that were recently handed to me.  I have always charted by ear until recently.  Spindoctor has taught me how to whip these files into shape quickly, which saved an hour or two on each song.  From there everything is polished for a while and tested, and I'm pretty happy with the results.  Judy was my 2nd custom that I charted, I picked it because its an awesome song and (let's face it) Ramones are not super-complicated musically - therefore easier to do.   So I am taking the same approach to a new technique, using Ramones music to get better acquainted with working with midis.

The updated version of "Judy is a Punk" is vastly different than my last version, brand new vocals & harmonies, many drum and bass fixes and I made the guitar chart to be more similar to the other songs in this pack (i.e. noticeably less three-note chords), practice session, FLAC audio source and a new songID.  So essentially a total make-over.

Enjoy!

These five songs are guaranteed to be the best 12 minutes you'll spend doing anything all week.

Holy shit has it really been August since I updated this thread?

Here's what I missed:

Scissor Sisters - I Can't Decide

Steely Dan - Hey Nineteen

Cyndi Lauper - She Bop

Bloodhound Gang - Hell Yeah

Neil Young - Downtown

Firefall - You Are the Woman

John Mellencamp - Wild Night

Franz Ferdinand - Darts of Pleasure

Roky Erickson and the Alients - It's a Cold Night for Alligators

Most of those songs were done with my good friend Spindoctor for our weekly series "2 out of 3" or "Showdown" over in Doc's thread.   Roky Erickson's Guitar and Bass tracks were authored by mrcoupdetat with whom I have worked frequently and hope to do so again soon.

Honestly I think the Ramones pack was the last one I did that was a solo effort.  Lately everything I finish has help from other authors.  How great is that???

and today I bring you....

Gs1UDzD.jpg

... which is the final song in a three-pack of Ween.. well actually its our SECOND three pack together - from myself and Samyaza (Sam posted the other two songs - Mister Would You Please Help My Pony? and Blarney Stone so be sure to check those out!).   We will definitely continue to collab on Ween because Sam is a pleasure to work with and we both are huge fans.

Pandy Fackler is my 120th posted custom.  I have dozens more that are finished and will be released during C3Thon!  But meanwhile there are lots of other things happening, I will be back to the weekly adventure with Spindoctor very soon.

Enjoy that weekend my dear friends

Greetings!  I'm happy to report that I've been working very hard on our C3Thon project since early-October.  I can finally talk about it  :D :D     This week I will be posting some teaser images to give everyone a preview of what's in store.  If you enjoy these bands and songs I encourage you to donate to the cause, as much as you can so that we can make a difference in a few people's lives this year.  Thanks for all your support over the past year, there's lots more to come.

Tuesday Nov. 28th we will all celebrate the music of Pixies, featuring customs from Kloporte and myself.

NIIIIICE!!!

I really enjoy how you do these teaser pics for the preliminary preview....

and I really loved and got very pumped on how you did the Canada 150's in a Concert Event poster!.

Brought me back to the days as a young sprout catching local bands advertised on telephone poles here in the Seattle/Tacoma area!

Very cool moves, MrPrez! Very cool!  Looking forward to C3Thon! :D   :D
