Never done this before, but I've been keeping this list for awhile now, but thought this would be as good a home as any in case anyone is inspired by it or reminded of a song they themselves like.  I keep telling myself I'd like to take up authoring vocals--I have a decent ear, and truly enjoy songs with good harmonies--but life gets in the way.  Hats off to the authors, who have made it possible to even consider a wishlist like this.  You are my personal heroes.

I understand a couple of these songs are in the database in some form or another, and footnoted that where applicable.

Bangles
Eternal Flame*
Hazy Shade of Winter
Manic Monday

Berlin
Take My Breath Away

Brandon Flowers***
Crossfire+
I Can Change+ (I mean, Neil Tennant's voice is in it and it samples Smalltown Boy by Bronski Beat.  This is an 80s song.  And it's great)
Lonely Town

Laura Branigan
Cry Wolf
Gloria

Eric Carmen
Hungry Eyes+

Joe Cocker and Jennifer Warnes
Up Where We Belong

Phil Collins - Against All Odds

As I've explained many times, I'm an idiot.

Not sure how I missed that; I definitely have this song and we've played through it many times. Thanks for the catch.

Oh Yeah!

Good stuff goin' on here!  +1 to these and if I may.....Peter Gabriel - 'Sledge Hammer'.

If I appear to be a little "off center", pay it no mind.

To each his own. I don't understand why people are so in love with this song...

;)

+1 on the Pet Shop Boys.
I fear for the day when Eternal Flame Harmonies become available on parties. So +1 for that as well. I had completely missed the fact that the song was in the database in the first place.

Really good list.  Lots of those songs are available in Singstar if you enjoy singing.

LOL! This one went right over my head Jimi369, after I made the initial post, I was informed by another member via PM that a con of Sledge Hammer existed.....when I saw your post I thought "well yeah, to each his own, some people just don't 'get it'....their loss"...but didn't realize until later, the Sledge Hammer con I downloaded earlier was yours.......jokes on me! Ha! Ha!

Thanks very much for doing this con but is there a reason it isn't in the database?

No problem, I missed a con that was actually in the database :)
The reason for it not being in there is that it is bad, as in badly charted and it sounds bad. And that is not me being modest here, unfortumately.

Issue one is in the process of being fixed, as best I can, but the audio thing has to do with the quality of the stems and my inability to mix properly. It will be released again eventually though, with or without good audio.

Sledge hammer is available in the forums, predates the database. A multi track to boot.

+1 on West End Girls, It's My Life, Higher Love. Also wouldn't mind the No Doubt version of "It's My Life".

"In Your Eyes" is in the works. :)
