I have a question:
When I play some multi-tracks songs on the Wii the notes stop and the music rewind, and then is normal again, but in a few seconds it happens again.
There is a way to modified this on Magma C3?

Magma has a Wii Mode in the settings to convert multitrack customs to a more Wii-compatible format. Anything that was released through C3 should all have working Wii versions. For all others, it would be best if the original author could downsave it for you. Otherwise, you can use Magma to convert it yourself. You can also use RockBiink, which is mentioned in the guide.

I can help with the specifics depending on which one you want to go with.

Ok, I gonna try about this Wii Mode to see if it works. (About that, where is that option can find?)
Thanks ;)

Hi friends. I just have a query. My Wii is running 950+ songs. All good. But, as more songs are released, I find I'm accumulating probably another Wii's worth - the more non mainstream stuff mostly, that I know my friends that do come round to play, will have no interest in playing.. I realize that scores are over written at 1000 or so, so I've kept it under that limit (otherwise how do you know you improve?). Is there a way to run a second set of songs? Or do I need to set up a new Wii? Put the new songs on another SD card with another hard drive on my existing Wii, or something else, and will that blow up my save? I really don't want to try just in case. How are you handling it? I'm sure I'm not the only one?

Cheers for all the good stuff, especially this forum

In the first post of this thread there are Gecko/Ocarina cheats you can use, one of them raises the song limit to 3000.

Ok, using an emunand on Wii is not exact science. We discussed it in that thread: http://customscreato...tual-nand-help/

As far as I know, it's touchey to use other methods, I don't know much about them for RB3, when I tried to use either USB Loader or WiiFlow, I would get a weird problem where the savegame wouldn't be able to save/load, and the game would softlock.

The method I use is posted in this thread, but it doesn't work with every Wiis. We think it has to do with BootMii installed in boot2 or not.

Also, another detail: I've never been able to use custom generations on an emunand, either on real Wii or Dolphin. I had to use official generations. It doesn't matter much though because you'd be able to pack alot of songs in a single pack, which eliminates the need to have a thousand slots.

is it required to have boot2 installed? my system is entirely from IOS, is that not the problem?

Only to use specific emunand I describe in that thread. Also this was not confirmed, it is just speculated to this day, we do not have enough tests to be sure.

Hi, I'm using Dolphin 5.0-9583 and have successfully installed around 670~ish DLC songs from a folder provided in a Youtube tutorial that uses a different method than the ones I've seen in this thread. It has Gen1-6, A-D and The Beatles Rock Band DLC. I would link the YT video, but I am afraid that it would be classified as ban-worthy.

I would like to know a few things:

1. Is it possible to find the files for RB2 songs (not RB2 DLC) that came with the disk and load them into Dolphin? If so how?

2. I'm very confused about the naming conventions of these files (sZAE, etc). Is there any way to know the exact songs that come with each Gen? Is there a list available somewhere?

3. I have seen that there are other files sZGE and sZHE which I will attempt to install soon with the YT video method. Has anyone managed to get these 2 files working on Dolphin?

4. Are there any more DLC files? I have seen mentions of a Gen J on this thread, but no link.

5. I am particularly searching for songs the songs Less Talk More Rokk and Get Ready to Rokk from Freezepop. Does someone know the Gen that contains them?

Any help is appreciated!

I can't talk about the official DLC files but regarding the sZGE and sZHE I've never got them to work on Dolphin. You don't need to use them for custom songs anyways considering sZFE has empty slots and you can pack virtually infinite songs in one slot.

As for knowing which songs is in which slots you can use u8it.exe that comes with the packer which is a CLI app that can unpack app files.

i still don't understand how to have more than 250 songs, my english is not so good and from 500 in hexadecimal nothing works. even if i try to group some songs i still have to rename them with headecimal numbers.

Another thing i have songs that won't work on my console, they appear in the playlist but with an error when we try to playl them. (Exemple: BUFFY ou BETTY DAVIES EYES or HUSH COLLA SHAKER).

And another problem some songs don't appear at all in the playlist (Exemple: QUEEN  INNUENDO or WHO WANTS TO LIVE FOREVER)

Any ideas? sorry for the trouble.

Thanks a lot

You have to use another generation (sZxy).

However using 250 slots you should be able to have more songs considering you can pack multiple songs in one slot up to 40mb for the song folder and 500kb for the meta folder (if memory serves correctly).

I cannot remember which gen (sZJE I think), but I remember seeing that it contains most of the songs from RB2 and Green Day RB. I did not see any from RB1 or Lego however. Is there even a gen containing the songs from Lego RB and RB1?

EDIT: Also thank you Alternity, if it wasn't for your comments in the video I saw, I would have given up.

You could try using wads to purchase all songs. Sadly I don't think I'm allowed to give links to things like that so I can't really give you a direct link. It should be findable on YouTube.

Even with the wads the game freeze when you try to open the music store so we need to way until the Wii Open Shop is released :/
