Should 4 minutes of repetitive guitar droning be cut from Pastichio Medley for the sake of playability?

The Aeroplane Flies High is a boxset released in 1996 that contains 5 CDs featuring 28 additional songs

recorded during the Mellon Collie period that were not featured on the album. Each CD is an expansion of

one of the 5 singles that were released from the Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness album.

Big release today! Here's all of the Zero Disc minus the last song (Pastichio Medley).

First up is Zero, the third single from Mellon Collie (and released by Harmonix)

I have an update for the second track, God. Added a few snare hits on drums and changed

the difficulty to devil heads!

Now for the "new" tracks!

My personal favorite song from The Aeroplane Flies High. It just rocks!

Three guitar solos, a drum solo, and a killer bass riff near the end that can be a bit tricky.

Oh, and it's an instrumental! My first SP instrumental?

The riffage!

This one sounds a bit different from the rest. Not as heavy, but still fantastic!

With this release, I'll be taking a break from "Traverse the Box" Tuesdays for awhile. I will eventually return with Pastichio Medley, but I'd rather spend some time on some other songs first (particularly some non-SP songs).

Catch up on the journey so far...

Aw man I was so hoping for Aeroplane Flies High, the song to be next. Can you make an exception just for that one?

Probably not, I'm hoping that the prospect of doing that one will get me through the ones before it (since they won't be as fun). I'm about halfway done with Pastichio Medley's guitar, so I might return to TAFH sooner rather than later.

Greetings, friends!

I have added This Time to the database, my favorite song from Machina!

A hell of a lot of fun on drums. Unfortunately, picking bass and guitar out of these Machina mixes is a pain! Help please  :sweatdrop: -- guitar is easily the instrument that takes me the longest to chart.

My Love Is Winter will be next!

I love My Love Is Winter!

When I first listened to Oceania back in 2012, that was the song that stood out to me. A shame it wasn't released as a single.

Will you be doing Oceania (the song) as well? Didn't care for most of that album (I listened to it when I first heard My Love Is Winter).

Thing is, Oceania as an album actually fits Rock Band very well. I'll probably do the whole thing eventually.

If only Jimmy Chamberlin hadn't left -- the album could have been fantastic!
