How much you wanna bet on Reddit there's still people complaining about something?

This is an awesome series of announcements. I'm curious as to what the Fall Update™ will include since it's apparently not online, Ion drum support, or practice mode.

yeah i am guessing it's some new modes similar to brutal mode in the sense of changing the way you play rock band 4.

Of course. HMX made zero mention of the fact that many PS4 players don't have the exports that Xbox One players have, many SCEE PS4 players are buying DLC from the store (i.e. right now it has a price and lets you pay for it) that they can't play. Etc. There's still quite a lot that needs to be fixed.

Yeah, for sure. It's just really irritating to see all these fixes people have been demanding being announced and still all they can do is say "well, where's my personal updates for me?" They think they know how to develop a game and that updates can be pushed out overnight.

Grr. Frustration. Grr. :argh:

I thought I read somewhere that the new modes are inspired from games such as World of Warcraft and Destiny.

All in all, it would not be easy to find another developer as committed to their product, to be honest.

Glad to hear about multiplayer, I'll dust off my copy once that hits, hopefully they'll add in an online versus option at some point

If Ion Drum support is coming, do you think it's possible that the wired 360 GH2 guitars might eventually get support?

I really hate the RB guitars with their mushy strum bar, and new wireless GH guitars are so expensive....

If they don't work now it's highly doubtful. Wired peripherals are very outdated and wouldn't be very feasible to work into the game when there are so many other pressing matters.

The GH guitars by themselves are only $50 which isn't that bad. You can probably find a used one at a game store or eBay/Craigslist for cheaper.

This device might actually let you use the Xplorer on the XboxOne.

I already contacted their support to see if the MadCatz Midi Pro Adapter would work and they said no.

After a string of pretty lackluster Rock Band news, these announcements are very welcome.

it seems like the fall update will be paid for and anyone who gets it will get online play for free.

New update today

- Fall update will cost money and online play will be given to those who pay for it and people who pay for the fall update will get free updates into 2017.

- Midi drum support confirmed for xbox one if you have a midi pro adapter

- Score duel not returning

- Big focus of online play is dealing with people who have mismatched DLC libraries.

-- Cross platform play is doable but would require a lot of work.

I thought Score Duel had a chance of returning not necessarily this year but possible 2017.

I'm happy that the most requested features are finally being added.

I'm not happy to learn that the title is 'feature and content locked' after the update, which could possibly mean that I can't add further music without the update.  I doubt that is the case but it's a strange way of phrasing something.

I don't play online ever and I don't have an xbox live sub.  So overally I'm not sure what to think, I guess it depends on what else is offered for the money.
