Hey everyone! Been a bit since I've posted here. The last couple of weeks I've been jumping back and forth between different customs I'm working on, and things are now finally starting to get finished. Expect some more soon. As for now though, I have two finished customs (which have almost nothing in common with eachother lol)

Edward Maya - Stereo Love (with Vika Jigulina)

Audio preview: https://www.youtube....h?v=JnaGpqx02fE

This very catchy song with an awesome accordion riff is by Romanian DJ Edward Maya. None of the instruments are too challenging, but it still plays well. I was planning on using the MIDI I used to help chart this to chart Pro Keys, but it only had the main accordion part, not the rest I had charted to keys, so I decided to not include it.

Yoko Shimomura - Guile's Theme

Download: http://customscreato...es-theme-r15626

Oh man. Memes aside, this song brings back a lot nostalgia for me as I loved playing SF2 as a kid. And it translates pretty well for Rock Band : ) The main chorus part is charted to keys, while the 'verse' part is guitar. I used a MIDI to do the Pro Keys (seeing as I cant do it by ear) so it may be inaccurate. Some of the drum parts were a little difficult to make out too, but I tried my best. Overall its a pretty fun uptempo song, and it goes by pretty quick.

Let me know any feedback or concerns with these. More songs in about a week or so. Until then, enjoy : )

Sonic the Hedgehod 3 - 3 Pack!

One of my favorite games as a kid with a memorable soundtrack

Act 2 Boss

M0lySzM.jpg

Hydrocity Zone: Act 1

UJl0ayu.jpg

Ice Cap Zone: Act 1

Download: http://customscreato...ne-act-1-r15799

Hope you enjoy these, as I did making them. While researching composers, it turns out a lot of people involved with the soundtrack for this game! I couldn't find individuals for each song, so that's why they are under the generic 'Sonic Team'. There was a few interesting stories, with the rumors of Michael Jackson's involvement. AFAIK there isnt a definite yes or no on if anything he composed was used. One of the composers was Brad Buxor (who apparently had many collaborations with MJ). Anyways, his band (Jetzons) had an unreleased song called "Hard Times". If you listen to it https://www.youtube....h?v=H2OWC5Hosv8, it sounds exactly like Ice Cap Zone! I found it pretty interesting lol

On a slightly related note, if you want more Sonic songs, I also released today my WIP for 'It Doesn't Matter' by Tony Harnell from Sonic Adventure 1

The Michael Jackson situation is pretty interesting. A couple are long shots, but stuff like Stranger in Moscow and the end credits theme seem pretty likely.

Hey everyone. Been a while since I released something on this thread... but now I am happy to bring you

Gym Class Heroes Pack 01

QOCGGeq.jpg

Cupid's Chokehold / Breakfast in America

Download: http://customscreato...hold-bre-r10219

Up first is an upgrade from one of my first customs. All instruments have been fixed up and keys / pro-keys have been added. Game play wise this song is pretty simple, but it is catchy and is one of Gym Class Heroes more popular songs.

Petrified Life and the Twice Told Joke (Decrepit Bricks)

Gym Class Heroes are one of my favorite bands (in fact, if Cupids Chokehold had been a custom beforehand, I may have never picked up charting : P) These four are some of my favorites from them. Cupids Chokehold and Queen and I are some of their bigger hits, and you may have heard of them before. Make Out Club and Petrified Life, probably not, but I encourage you to check them out. Drums are probably the most fun instrument, although singing along is fun too (even though there is a lot of rapping).

Huge thanks to AJFone for going over my drum work and fixing them up (all except Cupid's). Same to petegaveglia, as him and AJFOne helped pitched vocals for Make Out Club.

Except for Cupid's Chokehold, there were no midis for these songs so it was mostly charting by ear. Although it was a great learning experience, I'm sure there are errors (especially on guitar). As always, I appreciate feedback so I can try and make these customs as great as can be, for myself and everyone.

Hope you all enjoy :)  and I promise my next release will soon

New(kinda) song!

cH1HiPk.jpg

Maroon 5 - Maps

Download: Needs some work, coming soon

So I had originally authored and posted this song before. Once I saw that it was announced for RBVR, I quickly took it down. I learned afterwards that it was not necessary. Oops : P

However, this was a good chance to rework on the song. I was lucky enough to come across multitracks, so this is my first custom using such. It was a good learning experience, and I was able to fix a lot of things on the instruments I didnt pick up using the mixed single track audio source. I know not everyone likes multitracks, so I also included a singletrack custom in the "others" download section. Also, thanks to GreenPanda12, who helped with vocals : ) (and the discord channel for always helping me with my questions)

As always, feedback is appreciated. Also, I would grab this while you can, as I'm sure this will be official RB4 dlc soon enough. Enjoy!

Hey everyone! It's been over a year (O_O) since I posted in this thread, so I figured now would be a good time to update and give some info on what's to come!

First, my opening post is updated with my songs from last year's C3thon! I had a great time working on all those songs and having it all for a good cause is even better. I feel like I learned a lot working on those songs and cant wait to pass it on to my future work!

Although those were the last songs I've uploaded (I also did an occasional instrument collab), that doesn't mean I haven't been working on customs! I have dozens of partially finished songs I'm just waiting to finish up. I am also working on three different projects, spanning a good number of customs. I'm pretty excited for these, and they should be a lot of fun (especially those who love nostalgia.)

Sooo... whats next? Well my next custom I'm planning on releasing is going well and I am planning on releasing it on Oct 31st. After that is a decent size pack of songs from all different artists. Target goal of that pack is November 14th (which happens to be my birthday : ) ) And this is where YOU come in!    I'm looking for one more song to add to my pack, but couldnt decide on which. So I wanna see what the people want. Vote for whoever / and how many you wanna see.
Edit: Thanks for those that voted : ) )

In addition to new songs, I definitely plan on updating some of my old customs that need it. First on this list are Red Hot Chili Peppers and Redbone.

That's it for now, I'll be sure to update more frequently with new customs and updates of what I'm trying to do.

Happy Halloween everyone!

Meg & Dia - Monster

Download: http://customscreato.../monster-r22259

It's been a while since my last release, and figured now is a good time to jump back in. I was working on this song a while ago, and decided it would be a good release to have for Halloween. The song isnt too difficult, but has enough variety that it should stay interesting for all instruments. Hope you enjoy, and leave any feedback or critiques if you find an issue.

Announcing a little project I have been working on for a bit...

flo4EYU.png

VIDEOGAME ROCKBAND

I have around 20 customs all based on classic videogames. A majority of these come with full multitracks. Every few days or so I will released a themed (based off of a single game, series, or sometimes random group of songs) pack of songs.

The first pack is...

Sonic the Hedgehog 3 (3pack)

Yes, I have released these songs before. They are now fully upgraded, including multitracks.

I love you. Sonic 1 through Sonic & Knuckles is probably my favorite VG music followed closely by Final Fantasy and Mega Man.

The first video game I ever owned was Pokemon Yellow.  Thanks for these 2 tracks.  I can't say how many times I've heard them over the years.  A F***ton is probably my best estimate.

This project is so cool!
Maybe we'll see Flying battery zone act 2 sometime. I never forget that glass cup toast sound in the back of the music.
Unfortunately the original Flying battery act 2 song was scrapped off from this stage in Sonic Mania and a different version was created!

PS:
Glass cup toast sound means this:

Sorry I didn't now how to say it in english!
My bad

VIDEOGAME ROCKBAND

Part 3

Nintendo 2-Pack

When dividing all of these video game songs into 'packs' based on what game / series they are from, I had two left over. Not too much in common, except they are both from Nintendo games  :)  Don't worry though, there are many more Nintendo songs coming.

47pNUwO.jpg

Yumiko Kanki - Big Blue

Download: http://customscreato...big-blue-r24263

From the video game 'F-Zero'. Cool song with the standout instruments being guitar and drums. If you play Smash Bros, it is the song from Captain Falcon's stages  :D

GWyom1X.jpg

Hirokazu Ando - Dreamland

Download: http://customscreato...met-race-r24264

This composition is from the game 'Super Smash Bros.' It is based off of the song 'Gourmet Race' in Kirby Super Star by Jun Ishikawa.

Very catchy song, especially if you have played Smash Bros. They keys in particular get a little crazy.

Sorry for the gap between these last two releases. I finally have the whole project mapped out now, so things should go more smoothly. Also, if anyone wants to add a song to the project, feel free to message me on here or on the discord and we can work something out  :D
