A classic. I got this song from beard216. It was missing vocals, so I finished it up, and added harmonies, practice sections, and overdrive for instruments.

 

Hope you guys enjoy. I know these arent the most challenging songs, and instruments can get a little repetitive, but i had fun with them and hopefully you do too. Let me know of any problems or feedback : )

I forgot where I heard this song from, but I find it really catchy. It might not translate into the most fun rock band song (drums are fairly repetitive, and keys are sparse). It's best for vocals (especially if you have a 2nd singer), hopefully you enjoy it.

Hi everyone! Been a while since I uploaded a custom, been kinda busy with other stuff. I still have been charting though, just not really finishing. Well I decided it was time to finish up and start uploading again. I have two customs today, and about four more that are almost finished and which I should have up in a week or so. Alright. lets get to them.

First are two songs by Ratatat.

 

 

Seventeen Years - Ratatat

I heard this song a long time ago, and have always found it extremely catchy. Vocals arent the most fun thing in the world, as there is just a short intro, then claps the rest of the song. The rest should be at least somewhat entertaining however. Charting guitar was tricky, as apparently there are like 4 different guitar parts, along with bass. What I ended up going with is just charting whatever two parts are prominent at the part to guitar and bass, with lead always going to guitar. Its more aimed towards fun than accuracy, so it might not float everyones boat.

Probably there most popular song. I actually didnt chart this, the credit goes to FoF user Ungrateful Dead. I was meaning to do this song eventually, when I stumbled it browsing the FoF forums. I liked the way it looked, so I just polished it up for posting here (with his blessing, of course).

Another pop song (if you're into that kinda thing). I always thought this song was catchy, so I thought might as well try and chart it for rock band. Drums were somewhat tricky for me to hear, but I did my best. Let me know if anything is wrong or any feedback

As for drums feedback on Glad You Came, I'd say the triplet section that begins at 1:25 in your vid is a little different than how you've charted it. At the moment you've got it as hat-hat-hat/kick, hat-hat-hat/snare, but instead I think it ought to go kick/hat-hat-hat, snare/hat-hat-hat following the beat instead of preceding it.

People were having problems earlier because I wasnt creating new unique IDs. I just made sure those two were updated, try em again and let me know if you still have the problem.
