Check it out: http://www.harmonixm...in-rock-band-4/

High-level: RB3 export is December, will cost $14.99, your account must have played RB3; no date on RB1/RB2/Lego, but still coming soon; RBN is not ruled out and will be looked at in 2016.

It's a little vague for people like us that are following the exports super closely, but it's still a good resource! SUPER HYPE FOR THE POSSIBILITY OF RBN, YOU GUYS. :hocuspocus: :brosius: :hocuspocus: :brosius: :brosius: :brosius:

I'll be pissed if they don't have the DLC/songs I already own thing fixed by the time I pick up my PS4.

If were ever to see more than 3000 songs in the library for RB4 we need RBN to happen.

tbh I'd rather they fix RB3 RBN than bring old RBN songs to RB4

They should really just bring it all back if they can, warts and all. I don't own RB4 yet, but I'd hate not being able to play the Cynic or DEP songs on drums. RBN 1.0 had some essential stuff too.

if they can't bring them all back, at least bring back the songs they got ported over to the PS3.  those were the only ones i owned so i would be happy with that.

RB3 export into RB4 is live for PS4 and XB1 in the US, coming next week for EU. Instructions on how to buy/download it:

  1. Start Rock Band 4.
  2. Navigate to “Get More Songs”.
  3. Scroll down to the new tab, “Exports”.
  4. Select “Rock Band 3”.
  5. Select “RB3 Disc Export Pack”.

Hmm. Will these put the RB3 songs on Rock Band Blitz on 360?

Blitz would have to be ported to the PS4 and XboxOne in order to play the RB3 disc exports.

From day one RB4 has never met my expectations, so no reason to waste my money on it yet.

Online mp should be the first priority, not RBN!

RBN should be first priority, not online multiplayer!

(to each their own...)

I agree with MFX on this. I got so little out of online play that I much prefer my 40 or so RBN songs come back before they spend any amount on time on an online component. That also includes all exports, delisted and otherwise missing songs.

What game doesn't ship with online in today's age? If i did purchase RB4 i'd only get to experience full band gameplay once in every 6 weeks when my friend's come round. If you have a family, a girlfriend/wife great you don't need the rely on the online feature that much. I have always played Rock Band 2 and 3 online. If your someone like me who owns close to the 4200+ or so dlc that was released from day one, you're going to feel very disappointed.

All the Devin Townsend tracks are awesome. Whoever charted the 1x bass for drums needs shooting lol

Well, Fallout 4 is a great multi-million dollar game and it has zero online play.

Okay, but what about multiplayer games? Games that are meant to be played with multiple people, but lack an online component. Surely there's something to that in this day and age. It's one thing if it's some offshoot, $1 indie game on Steam or a free game on a Flash game website, it's another when it's a full-cost console game based around multiplayer.

I'm not going to do the research for you guys, but do Wii U Fit or Wii U Sports that can be played multiplayer locally have online multiplayer? What about multiplayer fighting games like the recent Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter? Or to take it even closer to home, Amplitude 2?

If you want to say that Rock Band 4 should have online multiplayer because it's designed for local multiplayer, that's just the same as saying Fallout 4 should have had online multiplayer. The game's system lends itself well to a sort of MMORPG kind of thing.
