i already got boston don't look back which was already on this site

This version is VERY different. There are countless improvements, and harmonies.

Any time a song is upgraded by a C3 author it will be significantly better than the original version. Thanks Nyxyxylyth for doing this song justice.

Links to all songs are in the Customs database.

Grabbing 4 out of 18 songs. I guess that's good?

This week contains a huge* amount of variety in regards to music genres. Only getting a handful isn't necessarily a bad thing here ha :)

This is definitely a good week to try new things, download as many as possible, and see if you like something you may not initially think you'd ever listen to! I know I found a couple songs I've never heard of that I enjoy.

Great week not only because of quantity but because of the variety, this is by far one of the aspects i have come
to love more about the whole rock band experience, discovering new music styles, new bands, new songs, to
which i would never be exposed via traditional ways.

And on behalf of myself and the boss (my wife) thanks for Bon Jovi and The Time of My Life.

Great week overall.

Picking up the Boston song and the Dirty Dancing duet song. Awesome stuff.

Glad you mentioned the 2nd one....

Completely glossed over that the first time...will be getting that too as I'm sure it'll be a party hit.

Audio Adrenaline, wow, that's a pleasant surprise. I've been casting sideways glances at "Big House" now and then, because I might have the means to make it at least a karaoke track with separated vocals. At any rate, it's awesome to see them get some RB recognition. Now we just need some W's, some TobyMac, some Newsboys, some O.C. Supertones... This may take a while. :)

Awesome David Bowie and Boston picks as well, and seeing "Golden Years" fully multitracked is another pleasant surprise! And of course a big "thank you" to every author involved... all 20+ of you!

Great songs, extremely excited to do Cassandra Gemini full band. One problem though. At 4:34 in the preview video for Kickapoo, it sounds like there is tom work going on as well as cymbals and kick drum. And the straight build up of kick a slight bit earlier also sounds like he is hitting the tom along with it.

Holy shit, Cassandra Gemini? That is absolutely bonkers

Freaks and Animals is the best non-Feathergun Rishloo song too, hot damn. Good picks.

You are awesome AddyMilldike for resurrecting Rishloo "Freaks and Animals" from the RBN graves. :excited:

You're most welcome! I also want to give a shoutout to Rishloo themselves, if it weren't for their cooperation I would not have been able to release this great track this week!

I'd give that to Alchemy Alice, but F&A is a very welcome addition to the RB library!

Thank you for -

Bill Medley and Jennifer Warnes - "(I've Had) The Time of My Life" - Takes me back to when my baby sitter used to watch Dirty Dancing all the time lol.

Bon Jovi - "Never Say Goodbye" - This will be an awesome encore song after closing time for my rock band parties!

Boston - "Don't Look Back" - One of my most favorite guitar solos of all time is in this song, thank you so much!!!

David Bowie - "Golden Years" - Must have for all classic rock fans.

Eric Church - "Springsteen" - Very grateful to see a COUNTRY track! I truly beleive country is the most underrated not not supported genre by HMX. Everyone in the over 30 range is always asking me, any country tracks? Lol. They could make a lot of money if they were able to get some "new country" songs out there on there DLC. I do have both country discs and they are hit or miss. Anyway thank you for this track.

Morrissey - "We Hate It When Our Friends Become Successful" - This is one of those, I know I have heard this song before but I cant put a name to it. Will be downloading.

Rishloo - "Freaks and Animals" - Never heard of this one but when I checked it out on Spotify before the video was uploaded I thought the intro guitar, and then vocals were really cool. So I will be adding this as well.

Again thank you to all the C3 contributors, thank you for keeping Rock Band alive! If it wasnt for you guys, I probably would have sold off all my hardware a long time ago.

I seriously want to give bearz a huge round of applause for Cassandra Gemini. I was blown away when I saw that on the release list.

Seconding this. That came out of nowhere, man. Even Jarod turned me down when I suggested the song and he's crazy enough to chart anything.

Cassandra Gemini is now updated with a custom venue and some other small fixes, so if you've already downloaded it I recommend getting the new version.

check out my customs thread for some COOL FUCKIN SHIT!!!

i think that indie band pink floyd really messed up when they didntmake that whole song money just the cash register sounds
pink floyd's "the wall" is an entire concept album about a man who needs no education because his dream is simply to build a lovely big wall

Oh yeah, definitely!

I couldn't have made it without help from you guys. Thanks.

People should give the drums and guitar a try as well. Not insanely difficult to play, but very, very fun, especially if you like to play 2x bass.

If people know what's good for them, they should download all songs this week. So much good stuff to play...

What's the right method to edit the notes in the mid so the change will show up in the game? I want to add a trill marker in the Boston song.
