If anyone wants to clean up any of my tracks for release, have at it. I'm not picky at this point, just send me a PM and I'll get you the files.

Might be kind of cool to get a C3 release for my dad's song. Considering he made part of his living in a cover band for over a decade.

*sniffs* I'm gonna miss you guys. I'm not very active on the forums, but C3 is part of my daily internet browsing. The admins/authors here do a great job, as do the forum participants. I took a long break from RB3 following the demise of official weekly DLC, but got back in the groove once I discovered the RB Customs.

I can't wait to see the releases in the coming weeks, but it'll be bittersweet.

Rock. On.

I can't thank C3 enough for the hundreds of hours of enjoyment you've provided to my and my friends. You've extended the life of the greatest game ever made and for that you are all gods.

Here here, rock the fuck on indeed.

"No one can blame you. For walking away."
etc.

It wa- still is an incredible run and I'm very grateful to have been along for the ride for over a year now. Both as a spectator and consumer of songs I only ever dreamed of hearing in the game.
By now I've said thank you so many times it might start to seem insincere, but I'll do it again. I can wait for the finale (so if december 2020 is okay with you guys...No? Aww) but it will, without a doubt, rock.
Thank you for tons of entertainment and new ways of looking at- and listening to music.

I'm incredibly sad to see this coming to an end. I really love C3 and I have really enjoyed learning how to make customs, and creating so much entertainment. This project has been amazing and I will always be thankful for it.

Sad about this, but I'm also excited for the (likely) extra good selection to come out near the end.

Thanks for all the stuff!

I just wanted to make a post to say thanks.

I've known about customs for a while...I *learned* expert difficulty rhythm games from Frets on Fire, and later, FoFiX. I was a die-hard fan of Rock Band after growing tired of the limitations of FoFiX, and some rather immature (on my part) and heated discussions between myself and the Phase-Shift folks. Retired the Xbox 360 Wireless adapter for my PC and bought a console and RB2.

1,500 bought songs and a few years later, I was bummed when we lost DLC...Luckily C3 filled that void for me a few months ago.

Thanks for keeping the game going for me. The customs available here did more for my excitement for Rock Band 4 than any promo material for the game itself has so far.

Friday mornings are going to be just a little bit less exciting.

Keep in mind Friday was traditionally Harmonix's day to announce upcoming DLC. Assuming they adopt a weekly release schedule for RB4 (that's a big if at the moment, I know), we won't have to lose our weekly dose of high-quality songs for RB. In fact, now that the music industry as a whole has shifted from "generally Tuesday" to "generally Friday" for releasing new music, maybe Harmonix's announcements *and* the actual tracks will drop on the same day, just like they do from C3 now.

At any rate, my thanks also to farrotone, pksage, espher, TrojanNemo and of course Harmonix for, one way or another, enabling this community to thrive. It's been a fun few months, and the party isn't quite over yet!

I'd like to thank the community at large for providing such a wide selection of music. I like the idea of some form of database etc for community/forum songs, maybe author maintained links to their files with searchable features like the C3 database.

I can't wait for the final weeks.

I would not expect a weekly schedule for RB4 DLC.

I wouldn't expect it either, but who knows?
Maybe if the game sells more than they expect?

Although that's something that's really hard to happen, as currently music games are "dead"/not as popular as they used to be back then.

That being said, I have to thank the C3 community.
Even though I only discovered it around February of this year and couldn't really play that many customs (I only have a modded Wii and an unmodded PS3), I can clearly see a lot of people benefited from the releases and had a lot of fun with them.

This. I was late to the Harmonix Friday releases and I was never as excited for them as I am nowadays for the C3 ones.
I always had high hopes back then but there was a lot more disappointment and long periods of an "oh" feeling towards releases. Now almost every week we get at least one song I get genuinely enthusiastic about and more often than not more than one.

Luckily the forums aren't going anywhere in the forseeable future.
Still I feel some Always Look on the Bright Side of Life is in order. (Not a song request)
