Several of the Journey songs last week were from 1978 and 1979. Not all songs will befrom the 80's, only a vast majority.

This Eightiestravaganza will end July 3rd and will offer 80s classics each week, with some more recent productions thrown in.

But hey, reading before bitching is overrated, amirite?

This week is just okay for me, dawg. Pretty hard to follow up on last week's epicosity.

I'll download the Fine Young Cannibals and George Michael (HOT SAX, GUYS!) songs. Very pleased with Dash Riprock's "Easy Lover", so not compelled to have two versions of that one.

Fine Young Cannibals is the standout for me; I love that song.

I hadn't heard anything from Against Me since she transitioned - I really liked what I heard of that one!

Thanks as always!

Cool. Will definitely get MJ and will check out the rest.

I'm still waiting on Harmonica Hero. But only if it features Pro Harmonica.

Check out Kem's Customs! Featuring The Sounds, The Donnas, George Thorogood, and The Rolling Stones.

WIPs.

Actually getting 5 songs this week (even if one is a duplicate), but...that Dennis Edwards song is just awful.

Surely there are better duets out there? I'm pretty well-versed on 80s music, and I've never heard that song before. Unfortunately, now I have.

No, no, I understand that. There's certainly no pleasing everybody with every song. My statement was not meant to be disrespectful towards the authors at all.

I just felt that, with the hype surrounding the 80s this month, this was a bit of a missed opportunity. Guess I was anticipating wall-to-wall hits (which so far has mainly been the case...except this one "meh" song). Just providing feedback.

Also, "Careless Whisper" is listed as being a George Michael song, but the album art shows Wham.
