really surprised to see someone still has my chart from old fof thread after all that time. thanks for more cream

Once I decided to do some Cream, I searched FOF. I found two links on your thread, and Blitzbob's drums only White Room. On your thread, NSU still worked, but I Feel Free failed. If you still have that around, post a new link and I'll try to convert it.

I still have this chart, but I'll only be able to upload it in 3 months (I'm in the army now). I also have all the charts from my thread.
BTW Cream is my favorite classic rock band and I'm really pleased to see any of their songs available.
I also noticed cream discography thread in wip section on fof forums

Dibs on vocals ;)

I have a G/B/D version using Yakyro's Guitar/Bass track and Blitzbob's drums if you are interested in a good starting point?

Yes sir. Shoot me a PM.

Three full albums this month - mostly guitar only. First up, the third of my Nightwish conversions - Oceanborn. The first two albums were charted by Mustis666 and Tadracing99, excellent charters, but they only did one of the bonus tracks for this, Sleeping Sun. The rest of the album was charted by Guilherme. That is a bit unfortunate, for two reasons. For starters, there are no drum charts, a real shame. So, the only drumming here is on Sleeping Sun. Also, the author didn't care much for tempo maps, so the conversion process was very slow. The final charts are pretty good, but far from perfect. Please, if you spot errors, let me know, and I'll try to fix.

Next up, Legendary Tales by Rhapsody of Fire. These were charted by Quinthero, and are wonderful charts - a pleasure to work with, and great fun to play. Again, guitar only.

There are ten tracks on the album, but two are very short. Following Quinthero's lead, I treated these as though they were intros to the following song, so there are only eight rbcons. Of those ten tracks, the author charted seven, and I did the other three.

Finally, continuing with my Eric Clapton obsession, all of Blind Faith's only album:

For this month: The fourth album from the Mustis666 Nightwish collection, 2000's Wishmaster.

The title track is a C3 release. Everything else from the album is included here - drums and guitar only. Downloads are here:

For new customs, I have four guitar only songs, two by the Aristocrats, and two by Heart. If you don't know the Aristocrats, check them out - they are a phenomenally talented trio of musicians, with one of the best guitar players in the world.

Two classics from Heart:

Magic Man is a FOF convert, written by Scootastic, with a few modifications from me.

Finally, I have attempted to author a few full band songs. Several of these (all with vocals) are still in progress, but I have three from Joe Satriani available. Fortunately for me, Satch doesn't sing very often.

If I Could Fly has a guitar chart written, for FOF, by Puppetz, and Circles was charted by elx. I did the other instruments, and all of Memories.

I would really appreciate feedback on these full band attempts - these are my first attempts at drums, and I have no way to playtest the drum charts.

Hope you can play Louisville Stomp better than I can. It's a real bitch. Late in the song, he repeats the first part, but at a ridiculously speeded up tempo. Charting it, I had to cut the tempo markers in half, to avoid Magma errors.

You weren't joking. :aaaaa: Has to be one of the hardest guitar charts I've ever played. Thanks for the ass kicking haha.

Lots of new stuff this month, some full-band, the rest guitar only. First up, for guitar only, I bring you another band no one remembers - Vanilla Fudge. To quote from Steve Huey, on AllMusic.com,

Vanilla Fudge was one of the few American links between psychedelia and what would soon become heary metal. While the band did record original material, they were best known for their loud, heavy, slowed-down arrangements of contemporary pop songs, blowing them up to epic proportions and bathing them in a trippy, distorted haze.

This heavy instrumental down-tempo style is best illustrated by Eleanor Rigby, on of the three songs I charted.

The group still tours today, with three of their original members. I saw them live many years ago, in a fabulous concert. You may also have heard them on the TV show Mad Men - one of their songs closed the premier episode from the final season.

Next, another song from In the Woods, perhaps my favorite:

Finally, a classic by Yes, that needs no introduction:

Since that song has only guitar, I suppose I could call it full band. The following really are full band:

When this was made, Beck was still with the Yardbirds, and considering adding some solo work. He got together with four other amazing musicians to record this - Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones from Zep, the Who's Keith Moon, and studio session wiz Nicky Hopkins. All it needed was some Torvill and Dean to be really perfect.

Finally, last month I posted Circles, from Satriani's Surfing with the Alien album. Two other tracks from that album were released by Harmonix. I decided to do the rest (though part of the guitar chart for Crushing Day is by Susaltd). Here they are, with Circles added in:

Finally, one Satriani bonus track:

This was charted by Susaltd on FOF from concert video, and is a blast to play. There is no album, or album photo, but I kept the Surfing picture. It is guitar only.
