Thanks to all who took part again this week

We are taking a week break to recharge the batteries & get started on the next batch of songs.

We haven't determined a theme yet but you can bet there will be some good stuff coming your way.

MrPrezident works on a ton of songs & helps many other authors with their projects, so a break from meeting our deadlines is deserved.

We will be back on Tuesday Feb 20th with new songs to vote on.

See you then

Thanks again for such great songs. May I suggest a “Duets” theme?

Hey Doc, I know how much you enjoy your country so I figured I'd drop in a few more that I like from the genre.

Country fans....don't be shy...Here's a great chance at seeing some of your favorite country duets for the game.

Spindoctor is just the man to see if it could actually happen!  :D

Tammy Wynette & George Jones - "We Go Together"

Conway Twitty & Loretta Lynn - "Louisiana Woman, Mississippi Man"

Moe Bandy & Joe Stampley - "But Other Than That,(We ain't nothing, just good ol boys)"

Brad Paisley & Allison Kraus - "Whiskey Lullaby"

Definitely some good choices here!

Thanks for sharing them.

I will say this, it is tough doing duets.

We have to listen to the song in the range of 25 to 50 times while making most songs.

If your not a fan of the song it can be very annoying doing them after listening to them over & over & over.

Being totally honest with you all in saying,

We definitely won't be doing more than a few of these if any.

We will discuss this as a team as we always do & go from there.

If you don't want to do any of the suggestions, it's all fine with me.  You and Prez bring us enough fun songs that I wouldn't want you to do a song you wouldn't enjoy.

Hi Doc,

First and foremost, apologies on my part if by my volunteering those additional duet song requests, it got out of hand and made it appear that we were putting you and MrPrez 'on the spot'. I assure you, it wasn't my intent to have you take it that way and then make you feel like you owed anyone an explanation as to how labor intensive the work truly is. Just know that I feel badly if I came across as 'entitled' or 'demanding/expecting' you guys to honor anything we suggested. I truly am grateful for all that every single author in this community labors thru to bring this awesome content to us. .

I'm not Yakuza (or anything of the sort) so I won't be sending you a finger in atonement for my dishonor :shobon: ....however, my Catholic sensibilities do require some sort of penance, so I'll subject myself to repeatedly listening to Barry Manilow's "Mandy" for 36 hrs. straight! :P  Will that square us up? :D
