My wife and I would also like to thank you for sharing your customs. Like yourselves, we still like to get our Rock Band on now & again and we've been enjoying your songs very much. In fact, since we discovered this amazing world of customs it has completely reinvigorated our enthusiasm to play. We mainly switch off between vocals and guitar too, so these suit us just perfectly. I've personally been jonesing for some Tesla in RB since the game came out in 2007 so I can't tell you how happy I was when you posted that one (any plans for more? sorry, I couldn't resist asking). Thanks again for all of them, very awesome stuff!
:excited:

Thank you very much! It warms my heart to hear that, it really does.

Regarding more Tesla,YES! In my staging folder are "The Way It Is" and "What You Give". No promises as to when, but you should see at least one of them in 2014. Between the wife and I, we have over 200 songs now in waiting (plus 42 already produced - 16 of which have been posted here - and another 3 in process with 3 more lined up behind those) and the best I can produce (with any semblance of quality) is 3 customs every 7 to 10 days, depending on the length, complexity and the number of problems I find during each playtest session. And my schedule plays into it as well - maybe if I didn't need to go to work...
:sigh:

Two new songs are up!

Nothing Irish, just a couple of great songs. Hope you enjoy!

Faith No More - "Falling to Pieces"
Jackson Browne - "The Boulevard"

Next week will be a 3-pack for a band I've already posted here! Is that :haw: or >:( ???

If you're interested, post your guess as to what those three songs might be. Get any right and I'll PM you a link to the one(s) you guessed correctly. One try per person, per day please.

I'm going to go out on a limb and guess it's an Alice in Chains pack.

"It ain't like that"
"Down in a hole"
"Sea of sorrow"

Amazing, I swear that just this past weekend I listened to this Faith No More album from start to finish for the first time in a long while. I forgot how much I enjoy the hell out of it! The Jackson Browne track is such classic too, wow fun times ahead. Also, great news on those Tesla tracks you mentioned, I can't wait!
:excited:

My guess for the 3-Pack:

.38 Special
- "Caught Up In You"
- "Rockin' Into The Night"
- "Back Where You Belong"

FNM's Epic has a great sound to it. Some songs would be tough to chart, but I do have a couple in the folder...

JB's "Boulevard" certainly is a classic - that one was for my wife, but I really like it too, both the guitar and vocs. Tough one to "voc-tar" with, though.

Glad you like this week's offerings and thanks for guessing! Check your PM for the results.

I think the album's title track "The Real Thing" would be fantastic in RB, but it probably would be a beast to chart since it's over 8 minutes long and it alternates between a slow and fast rhythm. It would be awesome though.

OK, Here's my second try at a guess, since yesterday's attempt failed miserably:

Alice In Chains 3-Pack:

- Down in a Hole
- I Stay Away
- Got Me Wrong

(I know somebody already guessed AiC, but I don't know if they were right).

"The Real Thing" is actually one of the songs in my folder and yes, it is long, but not too daunting. The vocals will be tricky because, well, Mike Patton.

However, there are good dose "talkies" in that song, so maybe not. Believe it or not (check it out yourself), the rhythm hardly varies throughout - pretty much sticks around 80 BPM.

Alice in Chains 3-pack is up!

Alice in Chains - "Dirt"
Alice in Chains - "Dam That River"
Alice in Chains - "Sunshine"

Unfortunately for some of you, I don't think any of these three actually got any airtime. You might have to be a hardcore AiC fan to know them. Being one myself, I don't know how well the "normals" know Alice in Chains beyond their bigger hits. ;)

"Dirt" is a really dark song, very haunting, very AiC. "Dam That River" has some great guitar in it. Both songs are from Dirt, which also featured "Rooster", "Them Bones" and "Down in a Hole". "Sunshine" was one of my first favorites off their Facelift album which also had on it "Man in the Box". "Sunshine" has a lot of Layne harmonizing with himself - I went with what not only sounded right to me but felt right too. I wanted the song to be fun, not just "totally accurate", so I may have taken some "harmonic liberties", particularly toward the end. Let me know if you hate it and I'll send you detailed instructions on how to delete it. :c00l:

Thank you to everyone who participated in last week's guessing game about this week's 3-pack. :excited:
Several people correctly guessed it would be AiC, but none of their nearly 14 different song guesses were correct! I really wanted someone to get it right, but I had fun and more than a few folks said they enjoyed it also.
Keep an eye out for more to come.

Not a big fan of the band myself, but I have a friend who is really into them. Rock Band has gotten stale for him, maybe this will help get him back into it.

Don't forget the other three (technically two, since one is just vocals) on the first page!
And "stale"? How is that possible with more new songs coming out now than ever before? Just from C3 alone, never mind all the "amateur" authors! He just getting bored strumming a plastic guitar?

Just played some of your songs on guitar. Lots of fun! Here is some videos if people want to see guitar/vocal charts.

Alice In Chains "Don't Follow"
... e=youtu.be

Bowling For Soup "1985"

Also played the new Alice In Chains pack and "Dirt" was nice and challenging on guitar(at least for me). :)

Wow, thanks! I appreciate the kind words and the videos - that's awesome! I still hate that the "1985" lyric of "U-2" is "U- Two". No matter what I tried, I couldn't get the "2" to show up in game. Dirt" has some tricky riffs - fun stuff, though, and I'm glad you liked it. Thanks again for the YouTube PR!
