I'm back at it releasing more Porcupine Tree! Today marks the 3rd album released for RB3 as customs "Deadwing". This album features 4 songs with Pro Guitar/Bass!

Copied from the wiki:

Deadwing is the eighth studio album by British progressive rock band Porcupine Tree, released on 28 March 2005. It quickly became the band's best selling album, though was later surpassed by Fear of a Blank Planet. The album is based on a screenplay written by Steven Wilson and Mike Bennion, and is essentially a ghost story. Wilson had expressed the intention to eventually have this film script made into a movie.

The album produced two singles, "Shallow" and "Lazarus". "Shallow" also appeared in the movie Four Brothers.[9] It can be heard as background music in a bar. The album also produced three music videos for "Lazarus", "The Start of Something Beautiful", and "Glass Arm Shattering".

The album includes collaborations with King Crimson's Adrian Belew, who plays guitar solos on the title track "Deadwing" and "Halo", and Opeth's Mikael Ã…kerfeldt, who adds vocal harmonies on "Deadwing", "Lazarus", and "Arriving Somewhere But Not Here". He also plays the second guitar solo on "Arriving Somewhere But Not Here."

Finally I have a update to the Neutral Milk Hotel song I released last week. Miltonius Prime went ahead and charted vocals and harmonies!

I'll be working on more RBHP Pro Drum upgrades next and then the Porcupine Tree singles afterwards. Don't expect the Porcupine Tree singles until the first week of May. Hasta la bye bye!

Welp, remember how I said that "A Change Of Seasons" would be the first Dream Theater song I'd send to Sideshow? Well, there's a change of plans. It's likely going to be "Stream of Consciousness" that's going up first. All I have left to do is the bass chart for that (since it's an instrumental).

I could upload it yet again later today. I currently have a guitar only custom and 6 split up customs that have guitar/drums(which I have not tested yet). Ideally I would like to add drums to the guitar only custom and put it in the category of epics with the "12 Step Suite".

Dream Theater "Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence" by Psym. I'm going to keep sharing this version of Six Degrees until I decide to make a guitar/drums epic version.

Also, I'm going to take a stab at improving the guitar chart for shine on you crazy diamond I-V since you posted the project files. As a real guitarist, playing that chart made me feel ill. I'll send it to you as quick as I can

Edit: Going to try to put together some guitar and bass charts for dark side of the moon too, if I find the energy. I've got half a week off work so might as well do something with myself. Might add some bass to Pigs too, that song is in desperate need of a bass chart.

Funny you should mention "Shine on you crazy diamond I-V". I just received a bass chart recently so I will wait till you give me an updated guitar chart before I release the update.

I'll try not to keep you waiting, man. I mean, all I'm really doing is editing the original charter's notes so that they actually have a shred of guitar-specific musical logic behind them and tossing it back to you so I don't imagine it should take too long. This is actually the first time I've ever charted anything with a tempo map and it immediately feels great, even though all the legwork has been done.

those guitar pink floyd charts done by me need a rework, but drums are perfect.

i've been to busy, but i want to release some drum tracks for alan parsons project (guitar and bass charts contributions would be great), also more camel is on the way....

Progress on the Dream Theater customs:

* "Breaking All Illusions" has G/B/D charted. Working on the Keys chart now. Ditto with "A Change Of Seasons."
* "Endless Sacrifice" has all but vocals charted.
* "The Best Of Times" has guitar fully charted and bass and drums charted up until the 7 minute mark.

Basically, I'm going through and sorting out potential time-signature errors. I can also say there are no over-300 BPM portions in anything I've charted for DT. The closest to reaching that is 297 BPM having to squeeze in a 3/16 time signature measure into a quarter note's space. And that's because EOF only synchs to denominations of /4. Not /8 or /16. Which leads me to doing things such as labeling a 9/8 measure in 3/4 (and turning 8th notes into 8th note triplets). A lot of the weird stuff that I'm going to do for these charts is more of a byproduct of the different time signatures that DT uses.

In fact, as an example "Breaking All Illusions" uses the following time signatures (in order): (PATTERN A) 4/4, 9/8, 4/4 (x2), 7/8, 4/4, 9/8, 4/4 (x2), 9/8 [whole pattern repeat], (PATTERN B) 4/4, 9/8, 4/4 (x2), 9/8 [repeat], (PATTERN C) 5/4 (12 measures), a variation of PATTERN A where the last measure is 6/4 instead of 9/8, 2 measures of 4/4, [VERSE PATTERN] 7/4, 6/4, 5/4, 7/4 (play from measures 56-91), 6/4 (measures 92-107), 4/4 (measures 108-130), 6/4, [PATTERN B] (measures 131-141), 5/4 (measures 142-153), 4/4, 9/8, 4/4 (x2), 7/8, 6/8, 3/16, 6/8, 4/16 (x2), 6/8, 3/16 (x2), 6/8, 4/16, 3/16 (x2), 4/8, 3/16 (x2), 4/8, 3/16 (x2), 4/4 (x2), 6/8, 3/16, 6/8, 4/16 (x2), 4/8, 3/16 (x2), 4/8, 3/16 (x4), 6/8, 3/16, 6/8, 4/16 (x2), 6/8, 3/16 (x2), 6/8, 4/16, 3/16 (x2), [PATTERN D] 4/4, 9/8 (repeat once), 7/8, 10/8, 7/8, 9/8, 4/4 (8 measures), 6/8, 4/8, 6/8, 4/4 (measures 223 to 310) [PATTERN E] 4/4, 5/8, 5/4, 4/4, 5/4 (repeat once) [PATTERN F] 6/8 (3 measures), 5/8 [play 4 times], 6/8, 5/8, 6/8, 5/8, 6/8 (x2), 4/8, [PATTERN F] (x2), 6/8, 5/8, 6/8, 4/8, 6/8, 5/8, 6/8, 4/8, [PATTERN G] 3/4 (x2), 2/4, 3/4 (x2) (play twice, but add an extra 2/4 at the end of second time), 5/4 (x2), [PATTERN G] (once), 5/4 (x22), 4/4 (x19, with ritards), 7/4, 4/4.

TL;DR, that's 169 time signature changes versus 104 for The Dance Of Eternity (even if Breaking All Illusions is more than twice as long). This was HELL to sync.

I got content this week in the form of one song. Dream Theater's Stream of Consciousness in full band devil tiered goodness. Work will begin on the Porcupine Tree singles pack for hopefully next weekend release. Yes, there will be more Dream Theater in the future.
