  1. After a long time, my WIP is updated. First you will find all the bands that I plan to make their songs and below will be the different projects that I have. 2. 3. Did anyone else know that the Force HOPO midi notes also work on 5-lane Keys? I must have missed out on this, since I've never seen it mentioned in tutorials and it's not included in the templates. Good to know, anyways.
  4. I know one of the versions of the Halo theme were made as a DLC for Guitar Hero which can no longer be found/downloaded, I'm wondering if anyone is in the works of making a converted chart of the GH version or if they're making their own for Rock Band.
  5. I want to chart Pro Drums for a few songs, and I'd like to be able to see what it looks like in the preview window. The different options I have for modes are "Guitar/Bass" or "Drum" but nothing else. Another annoying thing is that the whole preview window is tinted blue, making the colors different. I've been just dealing with the color, but now that I want to chart Pro Drums, I gotta fix this thing. Anyone know what's up?
  6. Every time I try to compile a song in magma, I get the error saying "ERROR: MIDI Compiler: (MIDI FILE): Could not find MIDI track authored for real_keys, possibly due to incorrect track name event" But I don't want pro keys in my custom, neither autogenerated fake pro keys. But it keeps showing up. I know if I add the pro keys track, it says no notes charted for pro keys. For my first compiled custom I ended up adding fake pro keys myself since it wouldn't stop. How can I bypass it / get rid of it?
  7. I wanted to put together a sampling of some of my favorite bands that don't appear to have much recognition around here, judging by files available. If any of you like Dream Theater, Between the Buried and Me, or anything in between, it might be worth you check these bands out if you don't know of them already, I've linked songs below. Each of these bands could be considered to be part of the Progressive genre, whether that's Rock, Metal, Death varies between them. I've arranged them in descending order from "softest" to "hardest" music. And yes, some of these bands better fit into the "co
  8. Hello. I am looking for the following Beatles songs WITHOUT KEYS charted on them. Back In The U.S.S.R. Birthday Don't Let Me Down Hey Bulldog While My Guitar Gently Weeps Thanks!
  9. As you may know, I have started the Twenty One Pilots: Rock Band 3 project, and the expected deadline is March 31st. It is going at a decent pace, but there is still much more that needs to be done. That being said, I am mainly looking for guitar, bass, and standard keys authors. Any other instrument helps, too. If you can tempo map, chart vocals, pro keys, or anything, just PM me. We are open to any authors being a part of this. Here is a spreadsheet if you need reference for what songs are available:https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1dNps5QYe4793QIdRSalaxDMDZsH5xLmaG5vHyFZqU4s/edit
  10. I was wondering if it's possible to replace the bass player with keys other than removing the bass chart from the song. I read up on the docs and couldn't find anything besides the, "make sure to stack them or whatever". Is there anyway this can be done? If not, the stacking thing seems like the only option. Any help is appreciated.
  11. Hi, me again, and no I don't ever shut up Not a poll this time, but just wondering if there's an established "code" for the relationship between these three. My older brother had some house, progressive house on in his car today, I love some of the trance-y stuff (a lot of Chicane is good IMO), so naturally I thought about charting it. This would be a way off yet (got songs to focus on atm) but just curious, what do people prefer when it come to songs like this? (I could've made another poll for this...) Let's say in a normal song, that keys and guitar both have easily distinguished
  12. I don't really play piano, so this is kind of difficult to find out. It's even worse when I want to chart orchestrated parts such as: strings, brass, all that stuff. Help with this would be greatly appreciated.
