Paula Cole definitely made a name for herself in the 90s with this break out hit and her other hit (I Don't Want to Wait) off the same album. In this one, she narrates a vivid yarn of a mundane relationship in which the woman is looking for a stronger, rugged, more commanding man, which she pictures closer to that of a cowboy. The verses and chorus volley between the current state of the relationship and the yearn for her dream state.
Fair warning, this song is stupidly simple and has no business being in Rock Band, EXCEPT for being able to play the vocals. This song was made for a Karaoke game, but since I only have ability to make customs for Rock Band, you get the whole shebang. Come for the other instruments if you want, but stay for the vocals. The harmonies in verse are actually more challenging than the front vocals; however, she does both on the recording, so choose playing harmonies and you'll have the best of both worlds. =-)
