Quaking with booming soulful vocals, funky hard edged frequencies and screaming horns, “Vehicle” yields an admirable job of combining a big-band beat with rough and tumble blues rock, capped off with cushions of gospel styled choruses. Imagine a collaboration between the Chambers Brothers, Steppenwolf and Glenn Miller, and there you have it. The lyrics were inspired by a girl who always asked him to drive her here, there and everywhere. He had a crush on her but the feeling did not appear mutual. Jim was under the impression the young lady was simply using him for rides. Well, to make a long story short, they did get together, became husband and wife and remain happily married after all these years!

Glad I listened to the preview video. I have never heard this song in my life, but wow, it's awesome and unique. I can dig it, man. I can dig it.

Great venue work (especially the ending) and awesome guitar solo.  Kudos!

This was one of my old drums only customs now in full band glory. I'm here to educate as well as entertain Mr. Jedi :D

Oh yessss my good friend! Ever since I saw that drums only chart you did from way, way back,...(even though I don't have a drum set up and don't play drums anyway) I kept that con safely tucked away in a DO NOT DELETE folder simply because it was like a 'Holy Grail' kinda' thang! Thank you and the rest of those involved for getting this powerhouse of a song to see the light of day! What an awesome feat this is!!

Did I say Thank you?......well, I'll say it again....THANK YOU!!!!  \m/

The young man definitely has 'ears'....Familiar with Blood, Sweat and Tears? If not, check 'em...they may have something that would catch your attention!
