Ahhh! I've wanted this song as a custom for a long time! Thank you!

I've had various customs of this song over the years made by several different people. And out of all the customs I've played (Justin Diaz, spilledmilk17, yours), this one is somewhere in the middle. While it's ok overall (notes generally work alright in terms of how the patterns would look and sound on 5 buttons), some strange omissions (like the various uncharted bass notes in the first post-chorus and the bridge, as well as some uncharted kick notes in that big fill in the post-chorus) and other odd charting decisions kinda throw me off a bit.

Still an ok chart, but with room for improvement. Thanks for the efforts nonetheless.

PS: Bass should probably be tiered 3 or 2 instead of 4. Bass doesn't have any odd patterns that come with being in tier 4 IMO, even compared to other bass charts.

The constant strum with <160 of bpm (190 in this case), the difficulties have a little increase,

same if the song doesn't have Hammer-On, so I'm very strict to choose a difficult range based in the HMX standard.

The notes are fine, the scales are stableced for a range of 5 notes, you can take a look of the real hand position with my LH animation in Reaper.

About some notes with change in Part Guitar and Part Drums:

-Part Guitar was specially remixed for this version of the song, Left guitar with a difference of 32 measures with Right guitar, to have a good variance in the moment to play it, central guitar was mixed for Left and Right guitar to ecualized the 3 guitars with a pan control in stereo. The notes are literally based in the version of the mixed guitar.

-Part Drums, was mixed and ecualized for this version to have a good sound experience in the moment to play with the notes of the game, minors sounds was removed and putted in a Background track, same as Guitar.

Thanks to take your time to put a review of the song, but the notes and the special cases for the chart were carefully studied to provide a standard (All instruments, venue, reduction, mixes) in-game experience with the Rock Band Network content.

If you want to know more about this, please check the RBN documentation from the start with the mixes cases.

thanks for the response. However, none of that really acknowledges the missing bass notes, the way you charted straight 8ths in the first pre-chorus instead of two sustains, and the uncharted kick notes. does RBN documentation really decree that it's okay to just leave various notes uncharted for any reason?

Hey, this is embarrassing, but I could finally see what you were referring to, I used an old version of the midi in the CON file, now it's available in the final version, the fine CON.

Nice! Thanks for resolving that

EDIT: Unfortunately, by updating the chart, you also accidentally set the entire thing offsync. whoops  :P
