The final track on the album was actually donated from Robert Lamm's solo album of also called Skinny Boy with a new horn part added. It has no guitar but the bass part played by guitarist Terry Kath is brutal and the funkiness is non stop

Brutal bass part? Well, depends on how you tackle it...

I realized very early that there would be very few hammer-on/pull-offs during this song and I accepted the personal challenge issued to myself at that moment to attempt to up-strum the entire song (I typically do up-strum anyway, but oftentimes I just grab the bar and waggle it). The pace of the song is perfectly fitting for all up-strums... usually, as I found out.

I came close to victory. There were a few sections of rapid-fire orange notes I knew I couldn't up-strum fast enough, so I waggled to keep combo. I don't have a problem with chords (some people only play bass to avoid them, it seems), and there were four or five chords in this song, which was refreshing when combined with the lack of hammer-on/pull-offs. Definitely a different style from what else AJ has suggested to me, and I dig it heartily. It's a keeper (yes, even with no guitar part available :o )
