Chicago Chronicles concludes with “Liberation” from the debut album Chicago Transit Authority. At 14 minutes it is the longest song in the catalog. It's a composition that provides a unique space for Terry Kath to create and share the awesome depth and breadth of his talent with the guitar. With his masterful ability to shift from aggressiveness and intensity to softness and sensuality, Terry shows the myriad of sounds he can coax from his guitar. From ethereal, delicate strumming to his supersonic shredding, we stand witness to his genius in this groundbreaking instrumental.

So now after 115 songs I must bid the Chicago Chronicles farewell. It's been a real testament to dedication and resolve. Again I would like to thank each and everybody who had a hand in getting to the finish line. Much love to you all. Peace!

Your drum charting skills are Way Over The Top!

I can only speak about drums because that is all I play.

Thank You!!!!!

In my own humble opinion his charting skills for bass are pretty awesome too!

I guess this is the very last farewell kiss to a project my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed.

Thanks one and all for seeing it to completion! Absolutely astounding!

Thanks for all this stuff, Chicago is a lot of fun to play.

I havne't played them all though. I'm wondering do any have Bass solos? They're kind of jazzy so I'd expect some and I want to have as many songs with bass solos as I can find

There's no bass solos even during the instrumental jams but Peter's playing was so fluid you could argue he was soloing all the time. Especially on the first 7 albums.
