Author Notes

6/25 update: Minor fixes in drum chart and animations. The series of crashes in the chorus that goes B, G, Y+G should actually have been B, Y, G, and there were a couple animation mistakes. Also some small edits to the venue, but with rather large effects. During the part where the female vocalist is screaming her fucking mind out on HARM3, naturally there are many camera cuts to show the bassist lipsyncing that part. Except I forgot to put in the singalong marker.
3/25 update: Fixed first hi-hat in disco flip section appearing as a snare (hopefully). The disco flip markers are weirdly finicky and will often do this unless you have them in the exact right place.

My (edit: second-) favorite Deftones song, this track not only brings heaviness and energy to the table, but also a mysterious, otherworldly, haunting atmosphere. This is an awesome song for drummers, with a great groove in the verses, some quick double kicks, and big, never-repeating fills all over the choruses. The guitar part is mostly 2 and 3-note chord 16th strumming, and it's somewhat interesting and fun to play, if repetitive. With all respect to the late, great, Chi Cheng, the bass part in this song is honestly note that interesting. It has a syncopated rhythm with a few quick 16ths that generally repeats throughout the song. Then there's the vocals. At first you may wonder why it has such a high difficulty rating, as it's not really hard aside from Chino's unconventional melodies and note choices. Then the bridge hits, and Rodleen Getsic is introduced. At first it's just some long held notes, and she starts screaming like she's being brutally stabbed, repeatedly, by hundreds of knives. And you bet your ass I pitched it (well, most of it, and I actually had to lower it by one octave as it was outside the game range). Enjoy.

Sorry that I didn't see this until so late, but yes, fixes were made on both versions.
