Author Notes

Snail Mail is music composed by Lindsey Jordan who was at the mere age of 17. This one was released alongside another "Bedroom Pop" artist, Soccer Mommy and is a great addition to this genre.
I like heat wave for the great guitar work and the vivid lyrics. Some of my favorite songs are around eye color, and so many around blue or brown eyes. In this one, she makes mention of who she longs for having green eyes. And she keeps that central to the theme of the song, never quite wanting to give away the identity, but hinting at exactly who it is.
Just like with Soccer Mommy, she ensures she remains independent by claiming what she wants and letting others know too. At the end of the song, even though she is okay with getting attention by her mystery love sometimes, she declares that when she's feeling low, she's really not into sometimes.
Enjoy this one!
PS: Video may be blocked. Strict copyright bullsh*t on this one, because, you know, everyone wants to rip a song that has fake crowd cheering and drum taps in it. If you want to at least know what the song sounds like, copy/paste the following link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-d91Qn8QUks
