Author Notes

Very fun instrumental off of DT's self-titled album. Some tricky solos, including a MorphWiz (iPad) solo from Rudess. Also look out for Mangini with some odd subdivisions, including (at the end of the slow section) 15 notes over 4 beats, and (at the end of the drum solo) 17 notes over 3 beats.

It took me around 7 years to figure out how to chart Mangini's drum parts correctly. I knew about his "pyramid" kit but didn't realize that each part of it is panned 100% accurately from his perspective, e.g. left ear means left side of kit and right means right. So, all his interesting sticking and movement should be as accurate as can be done on the RB kit. If you are using an e-kit I do recommend placing your pads so you can comfortably go from RH on red to LH on yellow during fills!

[2019 May 9] v2: apparently 7 years wasn't enough...
- Flipped whole drum chart horizontally based on comparison with live footage. It seems on this album (but not ADTOE!) left ear actually means right side of kit.
- Pro Guitar (7 string) and Pro Bass (6 string) added. See video in comments

s that autoplay on 360? how did you get that to work? I see the frets show up when you press them on the controller, if your is in autoplay (hacked by RGH), then doesn;t that mean they don't show on the track? (Not for the notes). Are are you just really good and don't deploy od.

I wrote a program to translate from the PG/PB chart to a sequence of Squier MIDI messages that would perform it, and then had Reaper play those through a USB MIDI adapter to the MPA. :)
