UPDATE 9/15/20

Complete revamp and now includes harmonies; nothing seemed right except the guitars for the most part. Just a subpar custom from my earlier days. Sorry 'bout that. This one should be more inline with expectations.

++++++++ Write Up +++++++++

This song just does NOT get the love it deserves. It's a life lesson and one if we all lived by would make this life so much better for everyone. Whenever I tend to kick into a downturn, I think of this song as a reminder of how I should behave...always love.

This song is also good on all instruments and really fun to play on drums and a joy to sing. I only hope more of us can live by the credo of the message.

Enjoy! (again)

Vocals are freaking hard. I've tried my hand at charting a few songs, and the only one I've allowed to live outside of my private collection has uncharted vocals. Thanks for reworking them.

Agreed and you're very welcome. Without Farottone's insight, I would have continued to chart them incorrectly. But after I understood the real methodology, it all clicked. And now after playing the before and after, I can absolutely see the improvement and feel good about releasing them.

I've never heard Nada Surf outside of "Popular" (sorry). This is cool though! It makes me think of The Fray. Music like that — Blue October is another example — I have to be in a certain mood to listen to. I generally prefer more upbeat stuff. But yeah, I like this. Thanks for charting this and "Popular."
