Author Notes

Sound FX was a rock band from Saskatchewan, Canada. They released their self-titled "Sound FX" vinyl EP in 1983.
This chart/preview video were mostly meant as a gift to my dad, who was one of the members of Sound FX and is basically the reason that I got into learning instruments, performing music, and also discovered rhythm games as well. He was supportive of my interest in music so I feel like this is the absolute least I could do to repay all of that. This is the first custom chart I've ever made, so I hope there aren't any glaring issues that I missed. The only thing I can say for sure is the only reason that it appears that the Bass part has no hammer ons/pull offs is because with my current setup of instruments, only my RB3 Keyboard controller would be suitable to fill the role for Bass.
"Agent 88" is a fairly upbeat track with each instrument consistently involved in the composition. While not overly complicated in design, this song still has a distinct 80's flavour of rock that I feel like many would appreciate. The general structure of the song works well for Rock Band as well, as every member of the band is actively involved and no one gets left out for half of the song or something.
The preview video was something of a project in itself. I wanted to be able to show all 5 members of the band playing throughout the song, so let's just say that while it wasn't too difficult to do, it was still quite the process. Regardless, I hope you enjoy it and consider adding this song to your Rock Band 3 library.
If anyone is interested, here is the original music video for this song that was made in the 80's: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qDhzbFgP3pA
