The link works! This son is awesome! Do you ever plan on making the vocals?

I should be done with the vocals by towmmora

I saw all those devil-tiers and thought it had to be over-tiered... then I paid attention to the song with a Rock Band mindset and damn. Looking forward to giving feedback on this one once it's got vocals. I'm a big Sum 41 fan... listened to five* of their albums a few times at work this week! Looking forward to more. Thanks!

*skipped Underclass Hero and Screaming Bloody Murder because ugh

It has vocals now

Just had the chance to try it and ... is it me, or drums are completely f*cked?  :v:

I'm gonna fix that

However, i'm not good at charting drums or vocals at all, so if anyone wants to help me, that's fine.

For now, just play guitar or bass

Edit : there is a new chart.

I'm not sure if it's just me but the guitar seems off beat.

New chart, just for your info.

Without wishing to sound insulting, the guitar chart is still very poor. It's just as bad if not worse than the original chart.
I can go into further detail if necessary but in short: the strumming rhythm is frequently incorrect, there are tempo map issues, there's under and overcharting throughout and the audio quality sounds worse than before too, although that last one might just be me.
This song has the potential to be really fun to play but this chart needs a lot more work (at least on guitar, I can't comment on the other instruments). Hope that helps!

Yeah, i've tested it on guitar and noticed the same thing. Audio quality is very unpleasant to hear.

I don't see how the audio is worse. It sounds fine to me. Also, I am not a very good charter, so most of my charts are going to be medicore. Also, I don't use REAPER as it costs money. I use Moonscraper and EOF and to convert it I use ONYX. So - what exactly is wrong with the guitar chart? I would fix it if you could give me more information.

Hopefully this thing can get picked up by someone more exprinced then me, or Harmonix makes it themselfs and makes it RB4 DLC.

But for now, I'll try to fix it.

However, maybe you could do the guitar chart, since you do customs. Just a idea - I'll most likely make it.

BTW, if i were to fix the tempo map issue, I would have to start the song from scratch, since doing that with the current chart in Moonscraper causes the notes to close together and not be in sync with the song. I mean, REALLY not in sync, since I had it at 120bpm and the actual song is like 300bpm

Just tried it on guitar and the guitar notes required to play on the chart are like 30% faster than the real notes

OK, here's one specific point that expands on what iammax said. The song starts off with a very steady 4/4 rhythm where each note should be evenly spaced out so you strum the intro riff to the rhythm (or strum/hammer-on the notes to the rhythm). The way you've charted it is too fast so there are moments where you have to stop playing for a brief moment to let the audio catch up. This happens in the section before the vocals come in too, and during the rapid strumming parts before and between the solos, I believe.
With Moonscraper, I recommend finding the tempo first by using the BPM calculator (tapping out the 4/4 rhythm to get a rough BPM that'll probably need changing slightly every bar) and charting the guitar to that, as Moonscraper snaps the notes to a grid. I'd also recommend looking for online guitar tabs as a guideline for pitch and strum frequency. There are usually free ones of decent quality for popular songs.
